I'm a naturopathic physician, licensed acupuncturist, co-owner of Immersion Health, specialist in naturopathic oncology, and father of an amazing daughter. I write a lot about various things, not the least of which is about sulfur and its metabolism and how it causes a whole lot of maladies in our society.

I'm an incessant reader of books about evolutionary biology, genetics, epigenetics, and the science behind intelligent design theorizing [Note for the record: I'm not interested in the theological perspectives onthat topic]. Other topics I can't seem to read enough about include cosmology, biosemiotics, biocybernetics and cell physiology, the politics of science, marginalized theories and treatment methods within medicine, nondualism as a rational metaphysical system, zen and Buddhist philosophy, and life and being present and anything written by Annie Dillard or Mary Oliver or David Berlinski. And other stuff along those same lines.
