I believe that in order to reach your dreams you must build upon them; whether by small victories each day or through late nights and early mornings, persistence is key. I'm a native of Petersburg, VA, and an alumnus of Virginia Commonwealth University (VCU), where I obtained a B.S. in Marketing & Business Law. With a formal educational background in marketing, I have acquired countless skill sets that stretch beyond the surface of business administration...and I am no stranger to hard work.

Through my professional career I have been afforded many diverse opportunities to excel. From organizing and leading recruiting events to managing a multi-million dollar retail facility, starting a non-profit organization, and even teaching, I've worked hard to have earned the ‘well-rounded’ title. While I am currently employed in the financial industry, I do not take for granted the experiences I have gained from other places. They are each a part of me; however, being financially cultured has only enhanced my business aptitude.

I find great happiness in being a mentor to my peers as well as those younger than myself. To me, there is no greater feeling than knowing that I made a positive impact on someone else’s life. No matter if it’s putting together a business plan or just lending an empathetic ear, I set out to make a difference one small triumph at a time.
