Ildiko Goczi

Hi everyone, my name is Ildiko.

I’m a mother of two, math and science teacher, living in Toronto since '96. I spent about 14 years in the computer-multimedia business before I dedicated myself towards teaching. Furthermore, I am a fan of life-long learning, computer engineering, robotics and technology. Not only that, but I’m also interested in training my cat on how to use buttons. Among math and science subjects, I had the opportunity to teaching TEJ3M and TEJ4M in the 2021-2022 school year. It was a great experience for the students, having a chance to do hand-on circuit building activities and complete projects using Arduino.

I look forward to learning strategies to teach and assess concepts in Computer Technology Grades 9 and 10 courses using differentiated instruction and gamification. I also would like to discuss how to integrate concepts from the Growing Success document to develop assessment practices that are fair, reliable and transparent.
