Waqaa. My name is Isis. I was named after an Egyptian goddess. Was born in raised in Anchorage, Alaska. I'm currently studying to become a Mechanical Engineer at UAA-not my first choice but you can't always do what you want in life. I'm an artist, athlete, and leader.
Over the years I've traveled throughout America and ventured a bit into the world outside. Saw many amazing sites and lived a venturous life from horseback riding in the plains, to scuba diving in the Pacific Ocean, to falling and soaring through the sky. I even spent a brief moment of my life in a circus.
All fun aside, life is full of hardships and I've had my fair share of mine. However, I believe these are just hurtles that push our limits and erradicates our weakness. For it's not in the face of victory but in the face of defeat that shows your true personality and strength.
