Summary
University of Johannesburg Bachelor of Education student
My name is Siphelele Godlimpi. I am 23 years of age. I was born and raised in Durban, Clermont Township. I attended my primary schooling at Etshelihle Primary School, and then went to Umqhele Secondary School for secondary studies. I am currently a student at University of Johannesburg, I am doing my first Bachelor of Education degree (BEd). I hold a theology certificate that I obtained at Marianhill Bible School, which is also located in Durban.
I decide to take a career in education merely because, first of all I wanted to empower and uplift the youngsters minds and unleash their capabilities through teaching the knowledge, skills and values of our democratic country, South Africa. For that is the intended educational goal in our South African schools.
However, the most profound reason why I decided to take a career in education is because I wanted to explore the world through it second first mechanism (schools), that is used to stir and sustain civilization in the world. I wanted to gain more and more information as much as possible so that I could die empty not old. Apart from that I usually describe myself as an ambitious person, self-determined, goal-orientated, visionary, humanistic, and a leader who lead by following.
I am only interested on the things that I am able to do, for the reason that I profoundly have a courage to assess facts as they are presented to me, and have the wisdom to approach them without preconceived ideas or a biased mind. For my goal in life is to lay a foundation upon which I can build my search for Truth.
I am also an idealistic, reasoning person and I love reasoning people. For everything we think is ideologically too good to be true. Over and above that I am a incoming teacher whose only concern is to help sustain democracy, as well as civilization of the human race. However, my only motive in life is to learn as much as possible, for education is life on it own.
