My first experience came when I was just a child and my parents bought my brother a go kart. I was his little navigator as we blasted through a developing suburban dystopia. There is nothing like open air traveling. My brother and I share a strong bond which I attribute to these early moto days. Much to the chagrin of my mother, my father bought me a motorized scooter called a Go Ped when I was in middle school. I loved that damn thing but I was going through a tough time after experiencing a bitter parental divorce. The Go Ped and school were my escape. I would come home from school, race around with friends for hours, do my homework, go to sleep, and repeat. Go Peds added so much friendship and love to my life at a time when I really needed it.
