Godwin Egba

Egba Godwin Ovat was born on the 14th of May Into the Family of Mr and Mrs Ovat Egba in Ababene Community, Obubra Local Government Area. GODWIN Egba Is currently an undergraduate in the Department of Food science And Technology (FST).

Godwin is the Founder and project Director of Defining True Leadership (DTL) a Non. Governmental Organization that equip and engage young people with tools to be academically Successful and to Graduate, deeply passionate if improving public Education in Cross River state.

Apart from organising training programs and Seminal, DTL has built over Four (4) study Library in schools and communities for public use and have developed a software Technology that have given students access to Educational Materials. This Foundation is currently domicile in Calabar where he lives.

Godwin also offer volunteering services to youth base organising such Sunrise youth intervention organization (SYNO)

Godwin is a selected 2018 Global Teen Leader courtesy of we are family foundation which he will be attending a one week Summit in New York City United States of America alongside other 32 selected Global Leaders by March 2nd-9th.

He was nominated as one of Cross River State Youth Ambassador (CRSYA), representing his State in the next one year.

Young Emerging Leader Leaders Ikapture Networks and Den Foundation (LDF) which was presented by the special adviser to the Governor on youth and sports affairs.

In the past three years year, Godwin Ovat has reached and impacted over 27,000 youths in his state through Radio programs and specials outreaches. And has severally been invited to different events to inspire young teenagers and secondary school graduates.
