Augustine Goh

Augustine is currently the Director of TBG Holdings and actively manages new business for portfolio companies.
He was formerly the Chief Marketing Officer at Nanoveu, an award-winning tech start-up. Augustine conducted a successful media campaign during CES 2014, with Nanoveu featured by major media including The Huffington Post and influential tech blog The Next Web. Nanoveu's app downloads increased by 14 times while 90% of existing customers updated their app in the week following CES. Augustine was based between Beijing and Hong Kong, as he also oversaw sales and marketing for the Greater China region.
Prior to this, he founded a retail company that developed distribution channels, ran marketing campaigns and opened brick-and-mortar stores for international fashion brands in China. With offices and fulfilment centres in Beijing, Shanghai and Shenyang, the company expanded into e-commerce and was acquired after achieving three consecutive years of double-digit growth in revenue and profit.
Augustine helps start-ups in his spare time, advising on go-to market strategy and fund raising as a member of the Angel Group, a self-managed team of angels who share knowledge and experience to make better investment decisions. His past speaking engagements include the Cheung Kong Graduate School of Business’ “How to Excel in China” seminar, the “Innovation Materials for New Business Opportunities” event co-hosted by Singapore's Agency for Science, Technology and Research, the Institute of Materials Research Engineering and Shandong University, and the inaugural Asian NEXUS Global Youth Summit.
Augustine read law at the University of Bristol. He has a master of laws degree with a specialization in corporate law from University College London (University of London), and completed his legal training at BPP Law School.
