Armin Arlert

Armin Arlert, was known as the crybaby of the whole squad, born in November 3rd, in the same day as Japanese Culture Day.

(Thought you would like to know that, as a matter of fact-ly.)

He spent his childhood with Eren Jaeger and Mikasa Ackerman in the Shiganshina District, sheltering behind the enormous Wall Maria. Born to be a curious boy, Armin has been fascinated over the world outside the walls, and he cannot even took his eyes off of his grandfather's books. Talk about how mesmerising the blue ocean is, how tall the mountains are. Although frequently picked on by the kids who were not in the same page as him, he did not stop.

He was too timid to defend himself, to say at least, that he relied on his friends often in the past.

But the little Armin knew, the walls cannot protect them forever. And so mote it be― an exodus was inevitable on that day when the first titan for hundreds of years finally breached down the oh so mighty wall (not anymore). A year after the breach, his grandfather enlisted as one of the refugees to claim back Maria, but the effort was in vain.

Armin then enlisted to the Trainee Squad along with his two best friends, no longer elated with the thoughts of sitting when the titans are devastating their home. He was considered the physically weakest, but the best theoretical student at his young age. Later, along with the rest of the Trainee Squad, he chose his path as a member of the Scouting Legion, for he is, up until today, still curious about the world outside the walls, as well as his burning desire to slay all the murderous titans.

Being perfectly shy at the start, soon as he grew up, he transformed into a young, passionate man who is known not only for his warmth, loyalty, and abnegation, but also his tendency to be serious all the time and his precise tactics and strategies.
