My name is Gold. Yes, Gold and not Golda or Goldie. No it's not a translation of an Asian name. Yes, my parents have an interesting sense of humor. I spent most of my childhood being pretty embarrassed when introducing myself. 28 years later, I've come to realize my name is pretty neat. It's easily remembered and readily made into a nickname - Goldie, Golden, 'Lox, and most recently Pony Boy. However, my favorite perk is the ability to make economic professors shift uncomfortably when they talk about gold commodity prices. It's pretty great!

Like most other girls, I love food and fashion. What makes me different is I spend a lot of time thinking about how transport them to customers. Logistics and supply chain are my passion.
