Nick Chertock

I believe in human potential, that we can improve at whatever we point our focus toward.
In particular I'm seeking to be a better golfer through connecting to top notch coaching,
training efficiently, and striving to be better every day.

My experiences are shared via @golfprogress on Twitter, and I put up new videos constantly on my YouTube channel (golfprogress). Visit my blog - golfprogress.net and opt in for the e-mail newsletter.

More about GolfProgress: I am developing a model that can be used by the player to answer the question "what should I be working on RIGHT NOW?" I'm a big believer in the importance of golf specific fitness, the benefit of high speed (slow motion) video and using 3D systems for analysis. I enjoy trying all the latest practice equipment and training aids, and figuring out how to make changes to motor patterns actually hold up under pressure. I focus on the physical, technical, strategic, and mental side of the game that covers all aspect of performance and improvement.

As a golfer with two young kids aged 4 and 1, I don't have a lot of free time to play or practice. My improvements must come from less time invested in training, so as a I result I must find the best methods or I will not achieve my stated goal of reaching a 7 index. If you are a golf addict like me you have a strong desire to get better and make those improvements stick so you can continually walk onto the golf course and play quality golf shots. Follow along with me as I take my 14 handicap game down to a 7 and see what is learned in the process. I will discuss practice ideas, drills, exercises, instructors, training aids, golf equipment, course strategy, swing methods, golf software, GPS, and any other topic that arises dealing with playing better golf.
