Karina Gomez-Torres is a passionate musician and music educator currently attending California State University, San Bernardino, where she is pursuing a Bachelor of Music degree in Cello Performance. Karina has been very fortunate in her studies of music, having been included in master classes with Ben Hong, Associate Principal of the Los Angeles Philharmonic, HansJorgan Jenson, author of "Cello Mind," and Bongshi Ko, faculty at California State University Fullerton.

Karina is an active member of the teaching staff at Bertrand's School Of Music, and provides private cello instruction to new musicians. Her energy and enthusiasm, combined with her nurturing disposition, helps to encourage and draw out the musical potential in each of her students. Her experiences, knowledge, and skill make her an outstanding music teacher.
