Gonzalo Conesa-Zamora

Gonzalo is a Well-Rounded electrical engineer, with over 10 years experience in control systems design, integration, commissioning and maintenance/support.He has accomplished key achievements throughout his career, having worked worldwide in many large manufacturing sites, mainly in the pharmaceutical space.

Since 2009, Gonzalo has exhibited his expertise in managing projects,leading teams and taking charge of systems and improvement processes. Currently, he is working in the Australian Synchrotron, a large particle accelerator and one of the main landmark research infrastructure in Australia.

Gonzalo has a very positive nature and is passionate about excellence, customer satisfaction and bringing the best on people.

Gonzalo is also committed to social causes and contributing to the community; examples of this are his collaboration as Committee member in IICA (a peak body organisation in Gonzalo's engineering field) and being a volunteer in AMES Australia - as professional mentor to skilled migrants. More recently, Gonzalo became Chair of the Equity and Diversity Committee in his organisation. He is also an advocate of Gender Equity, actively participating in Australia's Athena SWAN Charter
