Hi there!

This is Alvaro, 40 y.o., economist, business developer and entrepreneur.

I've been doing managment in either a freelance or full-time capacity since 1995, offering and bringing value to anything I do and everyone I help.

Professionally I've been managing customer service departments, traveled, and worked in many different industries. B2C connections and comercial relations is a great challenge, but my passion has been doing B2B for retail, entertainment, media and event companies.

Nowaday I focus on entrepreneurship on the Internet, a passion and challenge for me.

Also passionate about traveling, I have crossed more tan 25 countries, living and working in some of them. For me, traveling is a way of life. People are my favorite thing to experience about traveling! Between other projects I’m currently trying build a team with a purpose: "to thrust worldwide a different concept of traveling (not to tourism, I mean to travel getting local deep experiences).

I started running my third start-up, first in travel sector, and we expect to launch next 2016, so if you feel attracted by the concept, you are welcome to participate.

The business plan to be explained to interested & interesting people. But to make an introduction: website to purpose traveling, booking, ticketing, car sharing, etc (as usual) but introducing the concept of real local experience at the destiny of the travel (leisure or business), blending passion for people and traveling to bring to life experiences rich in local cultures.

Local travel, socialtravel, collaborative travel, and peer-to-peer travel have transformed howpeople spend their time in places when they travel. Buying experiences, notpossessions, leads to greater happiness, and even greater happiness when youbuy them for others.

A recent report by UNESCO cites tourism as one of the greatest threats to the same global sites by whichit sustains itself. Therefore, the survival of the industry translates into thesurvival of the communities that sustain it, particularly in developing countries. For many countries, tourism presents the greatest promise of prosperity and economic mobility. My last but not least project, linkalokal.com, provides these communities with anew, safe and fun way to accomplish this, enabling locals to use their time andknowledge to earn a living by generating new sources of income
