I can define José as a citizen of the world and a type of person who "knows about everything", a homo universalis.

He was born in Asturias, a small region in northern Spain, a place where the ocean meets the mountains. He really enjoyed growing up here, where you can snow ski in the morning and surf in the ocean watching the sunset.

He decided to leave this land after working a few years in a ski resort in between Asturias and Leon. After a year in Barcelona, he went to work in Andorra in the Pyrenees mountains. Here he was offered to go to North America, this was a dream come through for him. Jose had a job leading trips around interested sites in USA, Canada, Mexico and Centro America. With a 13 passengers van equipped with camping gear his really life adventure started here. This was a very challenging job for him since he did not know the country or spoke the language. However, he succeeded and stay at this job for six years. Tired to leave out of his suitcase he needed to hang his hat for a while, so he decided to go and leave in the Olympic Peninsula in Washington State where he had different jobs such as: salesman, cable guy, park ranger and bus driver. But his old job was calling him and after four years in the Olympic Peninsula he decided to go back to California and work with the Tour Company again, but this time as a logistic manager.

In the year 2000 he decided to work for a non-profit organization (The Pacific Crest Outward Bound) as a logistic manager in the High Sierras of California to start, but he was hoping to get a position in Portland Oregon. But in 2001 with the 9-11 event, the company decided to closed the Pacific Crest office. Jose moved to Portland anyway, and got a job with Oregon DOT as an office leader, and also, he went and got a A.S. in Marketing at Portland Community College.

In 2007 he moved to Mexico City and worked in several companies as a senior executive. First with Enzacta as an Operation Manager, then with Grupo Pata Negra as a Purchase Director and finally he started his own business in Real Estate.

Now is back in his home town and he is working on putting together an online business, learning along the way, all the in and out of the e-commerce and social platforms.
