Over the last decade I have been working as a Technical Support Engineer for the main players in the backup and data protection industry. First I worked for Symantec, giving support to Backup Exec, NetBackup and Enterprise Vault during the course of 6 years. Later I moved to EMC, where I am still proudly working providing Remote Reactive Support to Data Domain customers all over the world. My specialisation is Backup Applications (Symantec NetBackup, Backup Exec, EMC Networker, Veeam Backup, HP CommVault, Avamar, etc), Archiving Software (Enterprise Vault), and Network Analysis and Protocols (CIFS, NFS, DDBOOST). Linux and Microsoft environments are both welcome.

One of my true passions, apart from technology is writing. I am a Technical Writer with some published articles in specialized magazines.

When I am not doing all the stuff mentioned above, I swift to another of my passions: 2 wheels (both cycles and motorcycles)

I do cycle only Trek Bicycles these days (Trek Fuel for MTB and Trek CrossRip LTD for CrossCountry) and I am still dreaming of a bike tour around europe. Motorcyles... I had ride a few of them: Suzuki Marauder 250, BMW Scarver 650, Suzuki V-Strom 650, Suzuki Bandit 656, Ducati Hypermotard 796, KTM Duke, Triumph Boneville, Yamaha MT-09. I am the proud owner of a Ducati Monster 695, which I ride frequently on twisty roads.
