Web Developer in Topeka, Kansas
David Eldridge is a web developer and designer with a penchant for talking too much and killing good jokes. He enjoys writing autobiographical pieces in third person and mocking marketing fakery.
Seriously, I love developing and designing for the web: from designing the site to the first line of markup, from style to functionality to database connection, from posting the site to the public web to maintaining it. (I even enjoy some copywriting.) Since I started doing this in 2003, it has rarely felt like work.
I enjoy using my Mac (and working in Photoshop and Illustrator). All things being equal, I prefer open source, and develop in PHP on Apache with MySQL. But the public domain on an Open Web is my passion, which is why I developed Good Books Free.
