Through The J. Michelle Firm, I consult with clients on a variety of media-related projects. Most recent projects include: documentary pre-production, film event management, media kit and press release development and ghostwriting. Core services include: writing & copy editing, social media strategy and video engagement.
Having taught higher education for close to four years, I work with clients to integrate new media into K-12 curriculum. Most recent project includes developing a new media curriculum for a K-12 entrepreneurship retreat.
Despite the clutter, I believe in the power of media to transform communities. Most recent project includes an Anti-Bullying PSA Contest with KIPP South Fulton Academy.
EDUCATION & INVOLVEMENT
Goodman holds a B.A. degree in Mass Media Arts from Clark Atlanta University and a M.S. degree in Journalism from Ohio University’s E.W. Scripps School of Journalism. She currently serves as a board member and Chair of Communications & Marketing for the Black Women Film Network (BWFN) and is an active member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc.
