Gopal Goyal Kanda

Gopal Goyal Kanda (widely known as Gopal Kanda) is an Indian entrepreneur, business leader, and public representative. Born on December 29, 1965, in Sirsa, Haryana, he developed his career from local commercial beginnings in Sirsa into large-scale enterprise ventures across Gurugram and Haryana. As the founder and chairman of the MDLR Group named in honor of his family, he built a diversified business portfolio spanning real estate, infrastructure, hospitality, education, and media. In 2007, he expanded his commercial endeavors into domestic civil aviation by launching MDLR Airlines. Goyal entered electoral politics in 2009, twice winning election as a Member of the Haryana Legislative Assembly (MLA) representing the Sirsa constituency in 2009 and 2019. He has served Haryana as a Minister of State, holding portfolios for Home Affairs, Urban Local Bodies, and Industries & Commerce. In May 2014, he founded the Haryana Lokhit Party (HLP) to create an independent platform for public welfare. A dedicated philanthropist, Goyal established the Tara Baba Kutiya complex in Sirsa, creating a school, hospital, and charitable programs for local families.
