Gordon has 8+ years of experience managing solar energy projects in Kenya and Tanzania. He has great expertise in community mobilization; capacity building; stakeholder engagement; load profile analysis; project management;micro-grid customer management; and livelihood projects related to solar and wind energy. Prior to joining Renewvia Energy as Project Coordinator, he worked in Kenya as a Project Leader for SteamaCo implementing Vulcan Inc.-funded mini-grid projects on rural electrification. Previous experience also includes his role as a Field Officer for Access Energy, a non-profit organization that focuses on empowering communities with renewable energy. Additional experience also includes extensive field surveys for KFW in 2014 in the following counties; Homabay, Turkana, Marsabit, Mandera, and Samburu Counties (visited 1000+ sites/communities).
