After studying undergraduate business management at Ithaca College in Ithaca, New York, Gordon Burrows matriculated at St. John's University School of Law in New York City to obtain his juris doctor in 1984. Mr. Burrows subsequently served as an assistant district attorney with the Family Court Bureau of the Westchester County Attorney’s Office in White Plains, New York, where he handled cases that dealt with issues of paternity, child/spousal support, child abuse/neglect, termination of parental rights, and juvenile delinquency. Following his time spent in the Westchester County Attorney’s Office, Gordon Burrows worked as a matrimonial and family law attorney with several firms in White Plains and Yonkers. He currently has his own White Plains law office.

Outside of the professional arena, Gordon Burrows enjoys studying history, following current political events and sports. He also likes to spend time with his family and his dog at his beach house on Long Beach Island off the coast of New Jersey.
