Gord Reynolds is a powergrid and infrastructure strategist, entrepreneur and policy innovator with more than four decades of experience spanning the field, the boardroom and government.
He began his career on the tools and went on to lead global utility transformation practices, advise CEOs and ministers, and help reshape infrastructure delivery frameworks in Ontario and beyond. Gord has worked with utilities, telecom providers, governments and investors across North America, the UK and Australia, including Hydro One, Toronto Hydro, BC Hydro, Enbridge, EDF Energy and others.
Today, he focuses on removing the barriers that slow critical infrastructure. Through digital twin adoption, regulatory modernization and utility coordination reform, Gord helps align policy, utilities and execution teams to deliver complex power, broadband and transportation projects faster, with less risk and fewer surprises.
He is the founder of Digital Twin Ontario and author of Building Tomorrow’s Ontario: A Blueprint for Bold Infrastructure Partnerships. Known for combining practical field experience with strategic clarity, Gord brings disciplined execution, coalition-building and plainspoken advice to leaders navigating system transformation.
His work sits at the intersection of energy, broadband and public infrastructure—where regulation, capital and construction meet—and where better coordination can unlock billions in avoided delay, rework and risk.
