I've started my career working as a typographer for a daily newspaper in Germany in 1995. The exciting new world of digital media lured me away from classic print a few years later and I've started working on projects in the burgeoning world of the internet. My early forays into the digital world included managing projects for Swatch, VW and German Telkom in Stuttgart.
In 1998 I moved to Hamburg to set up and run the Hamburg Office for I-D Media AG, one of Germany’s biggest digital agencies. In 2000 I moved to Berlin where I've developed a community building software in partnership with IBM in London and Berlin, which was used to successfully run digital communities for German Telkom and eBay.
In 2004 I took over the role of the Business Unit Director for I-D Media - focusing on integrated projects for clients such as JTI, Toshiba Computer Systems, eBay etc.
I moved to Cape Town in 2009, where I've acted as a freelance consultant to local agencies on digital trends and international partnerships.
Beside the advertising world I've started working on a private Supper Club project - a social dining platform www.supperlounge.com - featuring and promoting private Supper Clubs and Pop Up restaurants in Cape Town.
