Who is GoSHoTe?

Hello!

I’m Alex Ramos, but you can call me GoSHoTe—a singer-performer, producer, songwriter, and educator.

Originally from Switzerland and raised in the Canary Islands, I’m a multilingual, crossover singer-songwriter, guitarist, and producer. I pursued my musical studies in Barcelona and Granada, where I earned degrees in Singing Performance and Music Education, along with a Master’s degree.

As an opera tenor, I’ve had the privilege of performing in prestigious venues across Spain, France, Italy, Mexico, and the United States, where I’m annually invited by Yamaha’s Education Department to participate in the renowned NAMM Show in California.

In addition to my performance career as a tenor singer, I’m passionate about teaching. I’ve taught at the University of Guadalajara in Mexico and had the honor of teaching singing for the Junta de Andalucía in 2022-23. Then, I taught from 2023-25 at the Conservatorio Superior de Música de Canarias.

In 2021, I launched @GoSHoTeMusic, a creative platform that brings together my work in songwriting, producing, performing, music video creation, and education.

My journey as GoSHoTe has also led me to exciting stages: in 2023, I performed at the Red Sand Festival in Safi, Morocco, the Dew Festival in Crawley, England, and across Andalusia and the Canary Islands, Spain, sharing my music with audiences around the world.

I'm also thrilled to share that my EP project “I Wish I Could Be a Starfish” has been selected for the 2025 edition of Fundación SGAE’s Ayudas a la creación de músicas populares.
