Jason Gouliard

Jason Gouliard is a seasoned e-commerce UX leader with 18+ years of experience in designing end-to-end user journeys across various platforms and products. He is currently the Director of Product Design for Financial Services at Shopify, where he leads the design strategy and execution for Shopify’s suite of merchant financial tools including Banking, Credit, Capital, and Bill Pay.

Prior to joining Shopify, Jason was the head of Design and Research for the Seller Experience team at Square, where he supported a talented team of product designers responsible for the our public facing website, the onboarding process, parts of the Square dashboard, the support experience, and AI chatbot efforts. He also led multiple design teams at Meta focused on the buyer and seller sides of social commerce. While at Google, he led 3 design teams focused on monetizing features on Google.com, Image search, YouTube, Google Search app, Google Shopping, Gmail, and more.
