Photography and art is an unending journey. In a way, it is a journey of dissatisfaction. For every new picture gives me a new level of dissatisfaction. We only see the one painting that gets to be displayed in the gallery or in a show; but behind every such painting, there are nine paintings that the artist did and discarded, which we never get to see.
Every small gesture, movement, posture tells a unique story within itself. Photography is an extension of my art.
Here I once again remember an incident while sketching by the roadside. On Seeing us draw something, a passerby approached us curiously, thinking 'They're probably drawing for some purpose, mostly for some government activity'. However much we told him, 'we are drawing for the sake of it, it's our hobby' he won't buy it. He said, "Oh ! Then it's just timepass" ......... The fellow was not far too wrong. We were not doing it to pass the time of the day; all the same so pleasant was it all, that one never realised how time passed...
