Bishop Gregory Bowden, Sr. is a native of Harlem New York. He has been preaching the gospel for over 30 years and is the founder and presiding prelate of Glorious Praise Baptist for over ten years. He has been a loving husband for over 30 years and the father of three wonderful children.

Bishop Gregory Bowden, Sr. studied psychology and theology and is a graduate of NYU. He is truly a hands-on pastor that has demonstrated sincere love and concern for all God has placed under his care. He has been a proficient teacher of the word for many years and has written several manuals for the training of the saints at Glorious Praise Baptist where he is loved and admired
