Currently completing my bachelor degree's in International Business and Business Marketing from Liberty University, I am an individual who thrives on the challenging opportunities life has presented me. I was born in NE Ohio and was raised in Akron, Ohio. The mid-west breeds hard workers, and my upbringing is certainly evidential to my lifestyle now. The perspective which being raised in a "Small-Big Town" has provided me has been a real factor in the 'genesis' of my vision for start-ups and entrepreneurship.
My passion has become to encourage and cultivate community engagement through small business enterprise. I believe in the transformational duty of businesses to their locale, whether in the United States, Germany or in Lima, Brazil. It has become my vision to enable business owners to do what they love while positively impacting their communities.
Though my activities revolve primarily around entrepreneurship and my studies, I am an avid coffee drinker, yoga aficionado and love small puppies. I come from a large family, and enjoy being an aunt to my nieces and nephews. In general, I simply enjoy people. I thrive on new perspectives, the challenges of my peers and candid story telling of whomever I am blessed to encounter.
In my lifetime, I have learned to appreciate all things. As I quoted Brené Brown above, "Vulnerability is the birthplace of innovation, creativity and change.” This statement ressonates with me and has inspired me to connect with people on a very honest and real level so that we may grow, change and create---together.
