Sudbury Ontario has been my home since birth, I attended high school at St. Charles College. In high school, I developed a love for learning and extracurricular activities. I thoroughly enjoyed participating in dance, rowing, tennis, badminton, and musical theatre.

Currently, I am in my fourth year at Laurentian University, pursuing a Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Education with a Major in Psychology and a Minor in English literature. I am in the junior-intermediate division with a teachable in Mathematics. I plan to acquire a senior teachable in English after graduation.

For the past three years, I have worked for the City of Sudbury Summer Playground Program as a Junior Playground Supervisor and a Coordinator for Leaders and Counsellors in Training. I have also been a leader in the All Nations Church Youth Group and Children’s Church for four years. In these positions, I have worked with children and youth by organizing, implementing, and participating in games and activities as well as coaching and supervising. These experiences have taught me patience, empathy, leadership skills, and creative thinking; they have given me reassurance that I have chosen the right field.

For as long as I can remember, I have wanted to be an educator. I have a passion for youth, education, and learning that I would love to share with my future students. I anticipate the development of positive relationships with students and impacting their lives in the way that my teachers have touched mine.
