Grace Savage

Grace Savage has been crowned the UK beatbox champion for the last two years running. As well as being a critically acclaimed beatboxer, Grace is largely recognised for her impressive ‘vocal and musical strength’ (Ringmaster review).
Grace was spotted by songwriter/ producer Dee Adam (Andreya Triana, Alex Hepburn, Newton Faulkner) just over a year ago and it was then that a beautiful songwriting partnership emerged. There is an honesty delivered in every lyric and Grace’s emotional and angelic tones are perfectly complimented by the left field approach of the production. Using a mixture of beatboxing and programmed drums the rhythmic elements work together to create an organic but still hard hitting sound. The sincerity of the songs, mixed with these fiery beats translates directly to the live set wherein Grace incorporates her live beatboxing with loop station, triggers and samples whilst fronting her live band. Her music has already created an immense response from the industry.

This summer Grace has supported brinth at Party in the car park and performed on the same line up as Rita Ora and Katy B on the main stage of As One festival where ‘her short wide ranging set proved more engaging than most of the more mainstream acts’ (The upcoming). Grace has also recently performed a solo set at Glastonbury’s very own Rumshack stage at The Common as well as headlining at The Social, The Water Rats and The Bedford (London) and supporting Newton Faulkner at The Shepherds Bush Empire. Grace is currently rehearsing for
showcases later this year.
