Hello, I’m Grace Szarko.

I am a member of the class of 2018. I have been at Academy at the Lakes for eleven years and a Student Ambassador for four years. I volunteer at the Pasco County animal shelter which is affiliated with Academy's Key Club. I love to swim and I am part of the Varsity Cross Country team.

Since my first day at Academy, I have been given the tools I need to be successful in the real world. Academy has taught me how to adapt to change and given me problem solving skills. Academy has helped me develop my interpersonal skills, and has connected me with people who have the same interests as I do.

After high school, I hope to major in hospitality or business. I am also interested in the Coast Guard Academy in New England.

My Academy experience has been filled with joy. Academy is special to me because this is where I have grown up and have gained the skills that have shaped me into the person that I am today. Now that I am a junior and can see the light at the end of the tunnel, I will cherish what I have learned will take these lessons with me wherever life takes me.

I look forward to sharing my Academy experiences with you.
