Grace Zarzour

My name is Grace Zarzour. I babysat for the first time when I was eleven years old. A new family had moved in down the street from mine and had two young children. From the second I babysat this family I fell in love with spending my time with kids. I started to babysit regularly until my senior year of high school when I acquired a nannying job to start babysitting for the same family every day. While babysitting might not be very exciting to some people it became my favorite activity to do. I spent every single day of my senior year hanging out with a kindergartener doing various activities with her. I loved doing this so much because children have a different aspect of life than adults and it makes many things seem so much lighter and more simplistic. I have loved spending my time with kids through middle and high school to have an escape from the rest of my life. While I have held many other “real” jobs while I have been in high school babysitting has always meant way more to me. This has inspired me to get into business with children when I am older as they have made such a large impact on me.
