Currently residing in Vancouver, BC. For close to a decade he has worked his way up to become one of the city’s most sought-after stylists. Graden focuses his cutting technique on the internationally recognized Vidal Sassoon system. He frequently travels to attend sessions that update and hone his skills. To elevate his craft and skill set, he trains with some of the industry’s most influential hairstylists—among them Damien Carney and Sue Pemberton, International Artistic Directors of Joico. For four years he worked as a Certified Technical Advisor for Joico, appearing on stage to teach advanced cutting and colouring techniques to stylists in British Columbia. He also worked as Canada's product tester for new hair-related products entering the market. Graden is continuing to refine his skills by studying with Shannon Simmonds, International Joico Stage Artist and multiple-award winner. He is also realizing his artistic vision by creating original collections based on the international world of hair, and working with local designers on editorial campaign shoots for publications and personal creative challanges For a second time in a row he has won Joico's Shoot To Win National Colouring Competition, been nominated for a National Mirror Awards for Men's Stylist of the Year, Classic Stylist of the Year, British Columbia Stylist of the Year and Fantasy Stylist of the Year, and was named as one of Canada's Top Ten Men's Stylists of 2011 by Salon Magazine.
