Safety and Health Advisor with background as an Electronics Engineer and as a Professional Mountain Instructor, motivated to develop simple and effective safety systems for managers and staff to employ, and to maintain and improve safety performance.

I currently work with DMH Blacksmiths Successfully completing CHAS and ISO9001:2008 applications, continuing with workplace inspections, and the development of their Health and Safety management systems.

As Director of Mountain and Water Safety Limited I bring together my mountaineering experience and NEBOSH qualification, delivering safety management to the highly dynamic Film and TV Industry, working on recent productions such as MacBeth, Outlander and King Arthur.

One ambition this year is to complete the Level 6 Diploma in Applied Health and Safety with NCRQ.

Positive, results-oriented, and versatile, I aim to bring a pragmatic and flexible approach to developing safety cultures in the work place through effective communication, practical training and the development of creative strategic management systems.
