Kimberly J. Roulin aka K’ Roulin, is known for her Smooth, Sultry, and Jazzy tones. Captivating her audience with angelic, soulful, sweet riffs that make you feel good! K’ Roulin has embodied the age of good soul music into her own unique style of what has become known as “Graffiti Soul”. Delivering heart-felt vocals that come from a place of past experiences, loves and pain; raw emotions anyone can relate to. She was was fortunate to train with Oakland vocal coach Jacki Harrison who coached En Vogue, Jeffery Osbourne and many other famous artists. Being from the San Francisco Bay Area where she played many venues including Yoshi’s and live radio performances at San Francisco Radio Station 89.5 FM KPOO with her band then called “Kimba & Graffitti Soul”, K’ Roulin created a buzz. Her approach to R&B, Neo-Soul and Jazz is unique, but familiar. With influences from such bombshells like; Patrice Rushen, Roberta Flack, Billie Holiday, Nancy Wilson, Rachelle Ferrell, Phyllis Hyman, Sade, Jill Scott, India Arie, Angie Stone, Janet Jackson, Nina Simone, Whitney Houston, and Chaka Khan, just to name a few. It has been stated that K’ Roulin possesses those same great qualities, with a sound and style unique to her. Now after moving to Los Angeles in 2011, K’ Roulin went to work- developing into a multi-faceted soul singer-stylist & performer by receiving great inspiration and vocal training through many workshops offered by American Idol Vocal Consultant and Coach, Dot Todman. K’ Roulin also loves supporting other artist and has helped out with backing vocals when needed. She has performed with San Francisco’s Indie Rock Recording Artist Jeff Campbell, World Music Recording Artist Jean-Pierre Simone, Ariella Stephens, El deBarge Jr., Promise Marks, Patti Negri world reknowned Psychic/Actress/Performer, Shawn Atkins and most recently with Imani Chyle a Rock/Soul singer/performer . K’ Roulin has played several LA venues such as; Xen Lounge, Serra's Dine & Dance, the Legendary House of Blues, Sunset Blvd., Room5 Lounge, The Parlor Hollywood, Hollywood Studio Bar & Grill, & The Malibu Golf Club, The Living Room, and she recently did a live On-Air Radio show and performance on Paxstereo.com. Kimberly J. Roulin is currently working on her anxiously awaited debut album.
