Born in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia but raised in Guelph, Canada, my work in communications, business, and the arts has been influenced by my surroundings. From ice hockey to poetry, from meditation to canoeing, from song writing to windsurfing, I carry pieces of my environment with me, as one might collect beach stones - physical reminders of where I have come from.
The name and image for 'WattsWord' is influenced by the family island that goes back over 100 years - 'WattsWood'. This island on Georgian Bay in the Great Lakes of Ontario, Canada is characterised by pink granite rocks, golden sunsets, wind-swept white pines, and clear, cool blue waters - elements that inspire a sense of adventure and surety.
Since 2011 I have lived and worked in the UK, residing in London with my wife and two cats.
