Throughout history, HapKiDo was taught only to a select few decided upon by the royal court of Korea. The Choe family, being one of the few selected, has handed down this ancient and traditional style of martial art, along with additional special family techniques, from first son to first son, since its inception.

Grandmaster Choe is originally from Seoul, Korea. Along with mastering both HapKiDo and Tae Kwon Do, his expertise in weaponry extends to over 20 different weapons.

Grandmaster JiMong Choe has over 50 years of martial arts experience, and is highly respected in the healing and martial arts world. His accomplishments and community service have earned him the appreciation and respect of leaders on a local and international level.
