Grant Allen
Student and Public Speaker in Jackson, Tennessee
Hi, I’m Grant. I was born and raised in Jackson, TN. I went to a private Christian school from kindergarten to senior year of high school. I grew up playing basketball and running cross-country. I have a joy in building relationships with people. My parents raised me in a Christian home, and I was brought out of death and into life when I was eight years old. I have attended Englewood Baptist Church my entire life. In my junior year of high school, I felt the calling on my life to do full time ministry. During the time, it has been a journey of seeking more have the abundant life that is found in Christ. My life verse is John 10:10, which says, “The enemy comes to kill, steal, and destroy, but I came so that they may have abundant life.” The past two years of college at Union university have been incredible. I currently work as an intern for the college ministry at Englewood Baptist Church. I have a passion to communicate with college students the hope, grace, and life that is found in Jesus Christ. As I enter into my senior year, I am looking for and discerning through God’s open door for my life in terms of ministry.
