Grant Rogers has worked in the commercial real estate field for over 25 years and has extensive experience financing, structuring, developing and owning commercial real estate.
Most recently, Grant Rogers has focused his attention on the area of ground leases and the bifurcation of real estate into its components parts: land (“leased fee estate”) and building improvements (“leasehold estate”). AIA Terra works with real estate owners to bifurcate their title, structure a ground lease, and either sell or finance the leased fee position.
Prior to this, Grant Rogers was a Director of Soros Fund Management LLC. From 1994 until 2001, Mr. Rogers worked in the large loan securitization program at UBS AG (as successor to PaineWebber and Kidder, Peabody) where he was actively involved in the origination, negotiation, structuring, closing and distribution of commercial real estate loans.
