The Grand Rapids Creative Youth Center is a nonprofit organization in Grand Rapids, MI, that provides creative writing and academic tutoring to kids ages 6-18. The CYC's mission is to prepare kids for life’s adventures by supporting their writing and amplifying their voices. In doing so, the CYC publishes student work in a yearly anthology, The Book of Explosions.
