I'm a media sales veteran who recently took the plunge into the fashion world. In 2010 I launched Alki Apparel. Alki Apparel's mission is to design and create the ultimate Loungewear for men built for comfort and style! I created this company for the simple reason that I didn't feel there was a decent lightweight short for men that also looked good. Most guys I know (myself included) would wear basketball shorts, gym shorts, cargo shorts or cut off sweats during the summer. I've found most of those options are either too heavy, don't have pocket and/or not very stylish. Alki Apparel shorts are designed to look like boardshorts, but made from a lightweight woven cotton to feel almost pajama like. I have done many things while wearing Alki shorts including sleeping in them, going to the grocery store, going to the park, boating, paddleboarding and just hanging around the house.
