Kathryn Green

My name is Kathryn, and I live in New Philadelphia with my husband. We have two cats, Franky and Maximillian, and a guinea pig, Squeaky.

I have a Bachelor of Science in microbiology from N.C. State (Go Pack!). I was planning on getting a PhD in immunology when I realized that I actually wanted to work in libraries. Now, I work at one of the local public libraries as a library assistant. I do some cataloging and work at the main circulation desk. I love working with the public. I am interested in getting more involved in collections development and maybe some programming. I would also like to learn more about the technologies available now for libraries, and become better at troubleshooting problems and expanding technology-based programming at my library.

I love watching movies and playing games with friends. Any Atlantic Storm fans out there? I also enjoy cooking, wine tasting, and crocheting.
