I am a Psychology Instructor at Cleveland Community College currently living in Shelby, North Carolina.

I received my BA degree in psychology from UNC at Asheville and obtained my MA & Ed.S. degrees from Gardner-Webb University. Originally I am from Cleveland County but lived a number of years in the mountains of western North Carolina. My work history includes domestic violence, at-risk youth, a psychotherapist in community mental health and community college counseling.

I am an avid reader and enjoy volunteering with local community agencies.

Classes I teach: Abnormal Psychology, Adjustment Psychology, Developmental Psychology, and Personality Psychology.
