From 1993 to 1998, Greg Boland served as one of three partners in RBC Dominion Securities’ proprietary investment group, concentrating on distressed debt, convertible bonds, equities and derivatives. Following this, between 1998 and 2006, while with Enterprise Capital Management, he managed a Canadian portfolio of distressed investments and special situations for Paloma Partners.

In 2006, Greg Boland established West Face Capital, a Toronto-based investment management firm that specializes in event-oriented investments where its ability to navigate complex investment processes is the most significant determinant of returns.

West Face invests in both public and private opportunities in Canadian and international markets. With principles that have, on average, more than 25 years of investment experience, the firm leverages deep networks and relationships to provide a differentiated investment pipeline.

Greg holds a B.Com in finance and a computer science background from the University of British Columbia. He is also a Leslie Wong Fellow with the UBC Portfolio Management Foundation.
