Hire me

I belong to a family of accomplished anthropologists, archaeologists, entrepreneurs and philanthropists that stretches over four generations.
Scientific and antiquarian affinities led to my academic studies and primary research in the visual arts, geology, history, paleontology, astrophysics and physics. These scholarly pursuits formed the foundation of my lifelong passions for travel and exploration, engagement with indigenous peoples, discovery and conservation of historical and artistic artifacts.
I am an International Society of Appraisers (ISA) credentialed Professional appraiser, and am strictly Uniform Standards of Professional Appraisal Practice (USPAP) compliant, and not just an armchair investigator. I am grounded Professional Appraisal theory, as well as in local, hands-on field work. I have spent significant time in remote communities around our Nation and the world, among social leaders and spiritual elders who maintain visceral connections with their cultural heritage. I share insight and experience with Clients, Collectors, Museums, and Colleagues worldwide. My top expertise is in fine Asian art, antiques, and antiquities; Fine Western art and photography; Ethnographic art and artifacts, among other things. This interest of these subjects was formed in this living context and continues to be nurtured by it.
