I studied astrophysics and film production at the University of York, and have been a theatrical photographer, occasional actor and singer, camera assistant/cinematographer and part of a student TV station. That's me on the left, directing and vision mixing Woodstock 2013.

I'm good with words, pictures, video, technology, science, people and many other odd things. With any luck, some day I'll find a way to make a living out of some of them. I particularly love technology and science - using them, fixing them, talking to people about them. My biggest recent project was Fantastic Fusion, a short documentary (like a half-size Horizon) on nuclear fusion power. I'm currently working as a support engineer in the broadcast industry, setting up television broadcast automation systems around the world.
