One of the conclusions is the fact that representatives of the group with a traditional TV consumption model (watching TV without distraction and without jumping from channel to channel) are most often found among people aged 55 and older. That is, these are the people for whom the specificity of the television viewing process was formed during the appearance of television, at a time when the television viewing process was focused but now we have online TV so people like it on h2o wireless customer service.

In addition, the “youth” model (background TV viewing combined with frequent channel switching) was singled out as a separate TV viewing model. The name of the group speaks for itself, this type of television viewing is most often found among younger viewers.

The results of the described study indicate the existing differences in the nature of television viewing of various groups of the population and the role of television in their lives. Accordingly, these differences are manifested to a greater or lesser extent with the change in the structure of the television audience. This fact determines the high significance of the analysis of the socio-demographic composition of the television audience in terms of identifying the main trends in television viewing.

Another aspect that determines the differences between the nature of TV consumption in different age groups is the different involvement and adaptation of people to the media. In the literature, there is such a division of society from the point of view of the media space as "Digital natives" and "Digital immigrants". The first group is the population that was born in the era of rapid development of new technologies, for which such a phenomenon as a mobile phone or the Internet, as well as various electronic innovations of recent times, are commonplace and familiar attributes of the time.
