Greg Thalken

Experienced in a broad range of diagnostic radiology procedures, Dr. Greg Thalken earned a bachelor of science in biochemistry and molecular biology from Nebraska Wesleyan University and a doctor of medicine from the University of Nebraska Medical Center. Recently, Dr. Gregory Thalken completed a mini-fellowship in thoracoabdominal imaging at the University of Minnesota. Dr. Greg Thalken is now undertaking a neuroradiology fellowship with the University of Minnesota in Minneapolis.

Dr. Gregory Thalken’s current work builds on his four-year diagnostic radiology residency, where he gained extensive experience in interpreting the results of radiologic examinations. During his residency, he received certification in basic life support and advanced cardiac life support. In 2011, he earned recognition as resident of the year. As a resident, Dr. Greg Thalken presented a case report on Neurodegeneration with Brain Iron Accumulation at the university’s radiology poster presentation. Currently, he is performing research that he presented at a recent American Roentgen Ray Society meeting in Washington, D.C.
