I love all aspects of the ocean but especially surfing. I am inspired by my kids, adventure and the insurmountable, a self-proclaimed campfire junkie, and an admirer of those who put other's needs before their own.

I believe in courtesy, will look up to see the stars, love to swim-bike-run and have been an ex-pat in France & Germany with my passion for travel & tourism.

Confessions: I pass vehicles on the right, still can't solve a rubik's cube and sleep naked. My strangest job was as a farm hand on a dairy near Rodez, France. South Africa is on the top of my 'mustgo' list.

My 15 seconds of fame came while riding a Big Wheel in front of our house, I was nearly mowed down by Dick Van Dyke in his zippy auto (NB: I am not looking for a 2nd chance to be celebrity roadkill).

My career in Travel began over 20 years ago, and I spent most of the last decade specializing in travel technology & systems. I currently lead the charge @DataArt where we build custom travel tech for leading companies in the travel & hospitality industry.
