Greg Holmes

Greg has been employed in the hospitality/tourism industry of the better part of 25 years. His experience is nothing if not diverse. Embarking on his journey in the early eighties, he has held positions with Air Canada, Fairmont Hotels & Resorts, Pan Pacific Hotels and Resorts, Contiki Holidays but to mention a few. His positions have run the gamut from Tour Director and Director of Sales to Product Development and Front Desk management.

He is involved in several associations and societies outside of work, Past-Chair of Vancouver AM Tourism Association, Vice-Chair of the Public Dreams Society, Mentor-Vancouver Board of Trade, Leaders of Tomorrow Program and Past-Chair, Marketing Committee, Sea Vancouver Festival Society. His volunteering includes Vancouver's Expo 86, Vancouver's Indy the Air Canada Championship and BC Special Olympics.

Always looking for new challenges he spent several years employed as a Tour Director leading tours from Tuktoyaktuk to Tijuana and Moscow to Minsk whilst living in London, England for 7 years.

Recently he has shifted gears to consultancy work allowing him the time to complete renovations on a 1949 Vancouver bungalow home he shares with his wife Alexandra, two cats and a black lab named Jack. In his leisure time he enjoys the usual West Coast pursuits, sailing, sea kayaking, tennis, biking and hiking.
